What this test can tell you

The final rate divides counted inputs by the selected test duration. Compare runs using the same duration, input method and device.

This is a score for inputs received by the page, not a verified competition result or a population ranking. Browser load and input behavior can affect the run.

How to use it

  1. Choose a time mode — 10 seconds is the most common.
  2. Click inside the box to start; keep clicking until the time runs out.
  3. Read your CPS and try to beat your best score.

How CPS is calculated

Final CPS is counted clicks divided by the selected duration in seconds. For example, 35 clicks over 5 seconds gives 7 CPS. Compare the same duration and input method across runs. This site has no verified population benchmark for a good or average score.

Compare your own runs fairly

Use the same mouse, hand position, duration and browser when comparing sessions. Extra switch events or automated input can inflate the count; a higher displayed score is not proof of faster intentional clicking.

Some clicks are not counted

Click inside the box only. Very fast double clicks from worn switches are counted normally, so use the mouse test to check for hardware faults.

The page scrolls or selects text

The box blocks selection and scrolling while the test runs; keep the pointer inside it.
