What this test can tell you

The page draws a solid color for you to inspect visually. Compare more than one background and distinguish a mark fixed to the display from something that moves with page content.

It does not automatically detect defects, measure color accuracy or repair a panel. Browser fullscreen, color settings, brightness and room reflections affect what you see.

How to use it

  1. Choose a preset or pick your own color.
  2. Press “Open fullscreen” or the F key.
  3. Press Esc or tap to exit.

Popular colors

Choose red, green and blue to compare the primary color channels, gray to inspect uniformity, or a custom color for a background or light. This page is not a color-calibration instrument or a certified photographic safelight.

Frequently asked questions

Can I enter an exact HEX code?

Yes. Use the color picker and type any HEX value such as #FF8800.

Can I download the color as an image?

Yes. Download image saves a solid-color PNG sized from the CSS screen dimensions multiplied by the current device pixel ratio. This is not guaranteed to match the panel’s native resolution.
