Water eject

Try a short low-frequency speaker tone without installing an app. It may move surface droplets, but cannot detect water, dry a charging port or guarantee that a phone is safe to use or charge.

30s 165 Hz

Remove headphones. Start at low, comfortable device volume and stop if the sound distorts. Device vibration may be available if your browser supports it.

Runs locally in your browser. Optional recordings and photos stay on your device; nothing is uploaded.

What this test can tell you

This tool generates a short low-frequency speaker tone. It does not measure the speaker, inspect the phone or read liquid sensors.

Playback does not confirm cleaning, water removal, dryness or safe charging. For a wet or persistently muffled device, follow its manufacturer’s drying and service guidance.

How to use it

  1. Disconnect headphones and Bluetooth audio.
  2. If the phone is wet, follow its manufacturer’s drying instructions first.
  3. Point the speaker downward and start the short tone at a comfortable volume.
  4. Stop immediately if the sound distorts or feels uncomfortable; do not raise the volume to force a result.

Sound is not a dryness test

A phone can still contain moisture even when its speaker sounds normal. Follow the manufacturer’s liquid-detection and drying instructions. This page has no access to liquid sensors.

Sound stays muffled

Do not keep repeating a tone to force a result. Follow the device manufacturer’s drying instructions and contact its support if muffled sound persists. This page cannot inspect moisture inside the device.

The phone says liquid detected

Do not charge the phone until the port is dry. Unplug and wait.

Frequently asked questions

Is this an official iPhone water-ejection feature?
