Headphone test

Put on your headphones and press Left, Both and Right. Then play the bass test and sweep to hear how your headphones handle low and high frequencies.

You should hear the left button only in your left ear or speaker, and the right button only on the right.

Runs locally in your browser. Optional recordings and photos stay on your device; nothing is uploaded.

What this test can tell you

The page generates tones through the selected or system-default audio output. Compare Left, Right and Both to check the channel routing that you can hear.

No microphone measurement is made here. Missing or distorted sound can involve output selection, balance, mono settings, audio hardware or the listener; it does not identify one cause by itself.

How to use it

  1. Connect your headphones and set a low volume.
  2. Test Left and Right, then play the bass test.
  3. Play the sweep to hear the full range.

Signs of a problem

Repeat a crackle or channel imbalance with another cable position, output or pair of headphones if available. A loose connection, balance setting, blocked mesh or hardware problem can produce similar symptoms. This page cannot identify the cause by itself.
